Well winter has come here in Spain and it's mild compared to the ones we have home. On the bright side, the mountains in Leon have snow capped on top now so that's good to see. The members say it never snows in Ponferrada so I won't be seeing a white Christmas again. Even though this isn't that cold, I'm freezing! I feel as if I'll be a wimp to the cold when I come back home. My new companion might be freezing too. He's from California and has been on the mission about a year.
The six weeks with Èlder O'Boyle have been a needed six weeks.
I'll miss him talking about how the south shall rise again and on how much he
is anti-Hillary Clinton. Yeah, we know what happened in the elections. The
people here in Spain keep telling us. We dropped saying we're Americans and
just saying we're Canadians now. But onto the week.
I feel ready to use the Book of Mormon in different ways than I
did before. This whole week we've been placing more focus on the reading and
praying about the Book of Mormon. We've been doing follow up calls to our
investigators here about their reading in the Book of Mormon. At the beginning
no one could say they've been putting the time in the actual reading of the
book. ☹️. We then committed
them to read it again and the next time we asked them if they did and they did.
Because of this, our father decided to shower us with blessings. We are now
teaching four new people this week and they are extremely interested in the
message. So I ask you to pray for these people if you could.
Well I love you all and wish the best for you.
Con
amor
Elder
Broadbent.
