Well this week we had miracles and dangers.
FIRST MIRACLE. We're teaching
this lady(Elena) from Brazil who
was taking lessons over a year ago. As we start a lady walk into her
store and listened to us talk. When we finished we gave Elena a Book
of Mormon in Portuguese and the lady looked at my backpack and asked if there was one in there for her too. Soon after we found out she was an inactive member who was baptized in Brazil over 37 years ago. We are going to visit her this upcoming week and her family too. Her name is Gissely
SECOND MIRACLE. I'm staying
here in Ourense six more weeks withwas taking lessons over a year ago.
Èlder Jones.
THIRD MIRACLE. The temperature is lowering.
FOURTH MIRACLE. A less active family we are teaching is reactivating.
FIFTH MIRACLE. I cooked for this family and no one is dead.
The DANGER of the week was that we went into an area to check on a
reference we received. When we arrived we both felt we needed to
leave. So we passed by this person, it ended up being fake, and we
continued. We called the branch president here to confirm a family
home evening and we told him where we were at. He then said to leave right away. We did the obvious thing, we asked, "Why?" He then
proceeded to say that was a drug and trafficking zone. We were out of there like a home run hit by Babe Ruth.
So whenever you get a prompting to
leave or not to say anything,
Listen and don't linger; unless you want to lose the right to those
promptings.
I love you all.
